2012 - The year of the ARTS!
Palmetto Dance Academy first opened its doors in 2000 with just 30 students.  It has now grown to two locations with a full fine arts facility at its Saluda establishment and a satellite studio in Johnston, SC.  Now known as PDAFAC we
serve nearly 150 students at our facilities plus offer outreach programs to local school districts. Our students are highly involved in both their art area and community service.  Thus creating a well-rounded child.

Palmetto Dance Academy and Fine Arts Center offers classes in multiple art areas - including dance, music, visual art, and drama.  With two locations to serve the public there is always a season for something at PDAFAC!

We offer a wide-range of classes that cover a curriculum based in technique and aesthetics of all art areas including dance, drama, music (piano and vocal), and visual art.  Classes begin at age 2 1/2.  We are also excited to offer a variety of master classes that run in short 6 to 8 week sessions as well as one day.  Call us to see what all is available.

PDAFAC nearly doubled its size in 2011.


PDAFAC nearly doubled its student base in 2011.  However, that does not take away from the quality of its instruction. We are committed to bringing in the best staff and keeping class sizes small so each student gets the individual attention they deserve!!  Beginner and intermediate classes all include a lead instructor and at least one assistant!
